WHO’S WHO
STORY TIME
Kelly Madison Media debuts its first full-on feature movie
Quietly over the past dozen years since their first
Pornfidelity disc came out, Ryan and Kelly Madison
have built a production empire together. In addition
to Kelly’s “world-famous tits” and Ryan’s rock-solid
skills as a porn stud, the two also have worked
behind the camera, making creative, polished adult
entertainment.
Now the Madisons are moving into a new phase
with The Altar of Aphrodite, a dark, plot-driven
drama. The synopsis describes the story of “a
disgraced journalist turned conspiracy blogger who
enlists the help of P.I. Ryan Ryder to infiltrate an
underground sex cult that targets sexually repressed
men and women with the false promise of sexual
liberation.”
role, with Ryan Ryder, Chanel Preston, Aiden Starr,

the cast.

a great cast and crew behind the entire thing so it
actually ran surprisingly smooth.”
Zane sees The Altar of Aphrodite as a natural
outgrowth of his work with the Madisons. “The
content we usually put out is pretty experimental
as far as us constantly challenging ourselves to get
better at what we do, so to us this just felt like the
inevitable next step and it was really fun. Can’t wait
to do the next one.”
“I was very excited to be chosen as the lead for
[Kelly Madison Media]’s first feature film,” White
told AVN. “The Altar of Aphrodite is the darkest
themed movie I have appeared in to date, and
it certainly touches on some ethical and moral
questions about the quest for sexual liberation.

“It was interesting to play a character who is
both excited and terrified to discover her sexual
desires,” she continued. “I think most people can
relate to those ambivalent feelings; during sexual

explain it. It took my breath away.
“At one point Greg was like, ‘Make sure you’re
breathing.’ There’s so much going on. There’s an
overwhelming amount of sensations. It was really, really
cool. I had two really strong performers so I got to
experience it. I didn’t have to worry about opening up
or positions. The guys took charge. I was just there to
experience something pretty awesome. I’m definitely going
to remember it for a very long time.”
She says she had never met Clay until the day of the
shoot.
“My heart was racing. It was our first time meeting and
we’re doing a d.p., so I’m not like, ‘I got this,’” she says.
“When we got done shooting Greg said it was one of the
best first d.p. scenes he’s ever seen. He said, ‘That was
your first d.p.? I don’t believe you.’ I think for me it was
just mental. I kind of psyched myself out thinking this is
going to be so hard, but my body was more advanced than
my mindset.”
The first scene in the showcase went live June 5, with
the others coming out in subsequent weeks followed by
the DVD release, distributed by Jules Jordan Video.
Lovia, who co-hosted the 2017 XRCO Awards on the
heels of being named a Vixen Angel in March, says the year
couldn’t have gone much better at this point.
“It’s been absolutely incredible. I’ve never been treated
better in my life and I’ve never been happier with the end
product,” she says. “It’s a more refined channel of adult. It
has this editorial feel to it and doesn’t feel like any other
brand. And being a Vixen Angel put me on the map with
a lot of other companies. I just did a feature with Adam
& Eve and they found me as a Vixen Angel. So it’s really
opened a lot of doors for me.”
She says she’ll continue to live in North Carolina and
come to L.A. for shoots.
“I love it. It’s kind of like my sanity. I’m a country girl at
heart,” Lovia says.
“It gets me to have that break and calm down from
everything. It’s so not superficial, it’s home.”
