Elegant Angel adds to Performer of the Year titles
If you want to add a trophy to your mantel, you’ve
gotta put together a winning team. That’s just as true
in the AVN Awards as it is in the Super Bowl. Fill
every position with a winner, and victory very well
could be yours.
One company that takes that approach to heart is
Elegant Angel Productions. For some years now the
adult studio has delighted fans with its Performers of the
Year and Best New Starlets titles. And last year Elegant
added another title to its roster: MILF Performers of the
Year.
These movies, which feature AVN Award-nominated
performers, don’t do well just with fans. At the 2016
AVN Awards Show, Elegant took home trophies in
two categories—Best MILF Movie and Best Ingénue
Movie—for its MILF Performers of the Year 2015 and Best
New Starlets 2015.
“It is an honor to be nominated, and to win is
spectacular,” said Elegant Angel head Jerry E.
So, when you have a winning formula, why stop?
“We are in the process now of shooting a brand-
new MILF Performers of the Year 2016,” Jerry E. said.
“Once again, the title is going to star only AVN Award
nominees. It will feature MILF Performer of the Year
Kendra Lust along with a bevy of the other nominees.”
And, yes, there will be a reprise of the other winning
title. “We are also shooting Best New Starlets 2016,”
Jerry E. confided. “The main scene is with AVN Award
winner and Best New Starlet Abella Danger. It is being
shot now by Dreadneck.”
Even before her big win at the AVN Awards, Elegant
Angel has been solidly on Team Danger. “Abella has
been in some recent Elegant Angel titles—some big
titles,” Jerry E. recalled. “She was our cover girl on
Anal Workout 3 and she was also in The Real Buttwoman
Returns, one of our 2015 best sellers. And she starred in
It’s a Daddy Thing! 6, another 2015 best seller.”
Danger herself is fired up about the new project.
“Being in Elegant Angel’s Best New Starlets movie is so
cool to me, and I’m sure it is for the other nominees
involved, especially because not all of us could be in it.”
While full cast details are not yet available, Danger
did reveal, “I’m especially excited to shoot my scene
for this movie because it’s with someone I’ve never had
the pleasure of working with. Dreadneck is one of my
favorite directors to work with, so I can’t wait to see
how he makes this movie filled with insatiable sluts
come to life.”
And for 2016, Elegant Angel is expanding the
concept of its star-studded titles into new territory
with an all-girl movie. “I’ve got another one we’re
very excited about and it’s all new,” Jerry E. said.
“This is Lesbian Performers of the Year and it is going
into production, directed by AVN Hall of Famer and
multiple award-winning director Pat Myne.” The
new title will indeed feature eight of the performers
nominated in the 2016 AVN Awards for All-Girl
Performer of the Year.
The AVN Awards Show wasn’t the only event in
Vegas that went well for Elegant Angel. The AVN Adult
Entertainment Expo also was a success due in large
part to its participation in AVN’s VIBE program,
which brings together adult studios and pleasure
product manufacturers with major buyers. “We can’t
believe how phenomenal the VIBE show was. To be,
in this day and time, selling over what our numbers
were the previous years is incredible,” Jerry E. said.
This optimism certainly shows in Elegant Angel’s
release schedule. “We have been releasing new
4-hours and 20-hours monthly with exceptional re-
orders—and the out-the-door numbers continue to
grow,” he added.
“We’re really, really excited about some
phenomenal titles coming soon. One of them is Tasha
Reign starring in Hard Reign, which features her first-
ever interracial scene,” the Elegant Angel honcho
enthused. “That will hit the street at the end of
February along with Texas Hoedown: Alexis Texas. This
title just like The Real Buttwoman Returns, is produced,
directed and starring Alexis Texas.” In addition to the
bootyful Texas, Hoedown also will feature Reign and
Lexi Belle.
Looking further down the line, expect even more
news from Elegant. “Also coming soon, we’re in the
process of shooting two interracial lines, which are
titled My First Black Teacher and Interracial Crush. In the
director’s chair will be Dreadneck.”
And finally, there’s an update in another Elegant
Angel tradition. Its Big Wet Asses series, a top seller for
the studio that is now in its 24th volume, will soon
have a companion series. “We’re introducing Teen
Wet Asses, an all-new title,” Jerry E. said.
Teens with wet asses—it’s an idea whose time has
come.

Catch a Ride in Vespoli’s ‘ScrewberX’
Smartphones, popular apps and the sharing economy may be staples of life for the social media
generation, but in Dana Vespoli’s mind, they somehow lead to clown copulation. You get that
and more in ScrewberX, the inventive director’s surreal look at hardcore sex in the world of ride
sharing. The movie is out now from Evil Angel.
“I got the idea for ScrewberX after using Uber a lot for a month,” Vespoli revealed. “There
were a lot of funny moments, with misunderstandings and/or stories about passengers being
inappropriate or assholes. One day, stuck in traffic in an Uber, I thought, ‘I’d love to do a porno
social satire about everything I’ve experienced and heard.’”
“This movie speaks in the language of the young, modern porn demographic,” said Evil Angel
Domestic Sales Manager Justin Rich. “For everyone in my generation, the fantasy is to hook up
with their Uber driver or passenger. ScrewberX explores the possibilities very creatively; I like
that each scene is a vignette with a different story. And Dana has cast talented performers that
make crazy situations arousing.”
ScrewberX pairs pale Sovereign Syre with Steve Holmes, Dana DeArmond with Tommy Pistol,
and Chad Diamond with Layla Price and Cherie DeVille. Vespoli is in the last scene as a driver
with passengers DeArmond, Holmes and Mark Wood in circus clown getups.
