LIGHTS,CAMERA...
OUT TO LAUNCH
Swinging Again
Provocative Productions debuts with ‘Trading Spouses’
our goal with the Trading Spouses series.”
Shot and directed by Bobby Manila, using two 4K cameras, the first installment of
the series stars Subil Arch, Allison Moore, Marie McCray and Nikki Delano. Manila
will be shooting the series and editing both XXX and soft cable versions.
Navarro, who is excited to be back in production after a long hiatus, has his sights
set on introducing Provocative Productions into all medias. He is eyeing a 4K paysite
and a swingers dating mobile app, among other projects, to build the brand.
“Trading Spouses is already generating a lot of buzz,” Navarro said. “We’re getting pre-
orders from our online retailers and have already signed a few foreign broadcast deals.
The customers are paying attention to quality content. They appreciate it.”
In terms of what Provocative Productions has in store for the future, Navarro said the
second volume of Trading Spouses would be the next release.
“After that we’re going to shoot some teen movies, MILF content, interracial, probably
more taboo-themed series. Everything will be in 4K and edited in two versions,”
Navarro said.

Provocative Productions, a new
adult studio created by industry
veteran Romy Navarro in
partnership with Springtown
DVD, is gearing up to release its first
series, Trading Spouses.
No stranger to this theme,
Navarro’s previous company, Wildlife
Productions, created the long-running
Screw My Wife, Please series.
“Screw My Wife was the original
swingers series,” Navarro said. “When
considering the worldwide success
from both retail sales and broadcast
licensing, I knew I wanted to stick
with a similar storyline, but this time
use the latest technology to produce
content of the highest quality. That’s
(“Missing” continued from page 32 ) handlebar-like grip,
will keep up with the
Villain as she surveys
her domain, with a
grip nearby carrying
a fill light to provide
constant illumination.
The Villain steps over
the X and goes over to
the bound girl in the
other corner, licking her
cheek as she cringes
away. She stops at the
girl in the chair, sizes
up the IV, purrs “Almost
ready.” Chilling. The
only sounds in the room
besides the clack-clack
of the Villain’s shoes are
the low moans of the
August Ames and Kendra James in Girlsway’s “Missing.” performers. She looks at
the two girls scissoring and snaps, “Stop that!” They stop at once, or try to,
because the tarp is slick with glycerin, simulating sweat. The Villain picks
up a labeled jar, murmurs something about the porn star pictured on the
label, then drinks it greedily, the excess running down her chin. That’s the
plan.
On the first take, a tech kicking over a stack of jars while walking
backwards wasn’t in the script, but it happened anyway. The tension
broken, laughter fills the room. Mills lets it run for a moment, letting the
players relax, before starting again with a cheerful “Back to one.”
Which elicits more laughter from the performers — because none of them
moved during the shot.
The six episodes of Missing: A Lesbian Crime Story are airing biweekly on
Girlsway.com through August 12. The full movie is also available on select VOD
platforms and on DVD. To order Missing and other Girlsway titles from Girlfriends
Films Distribution, email ddiamond@girlfriendsfilms.com.
(“Pure Bush 3” continued from page 34 )
Abella stands out against a white backdrop that
is laid over the room like a painter’s tarp. She pulls
her one-piece aside to give Diamond’s camera and
unfiltered view. She pets her bush like a lap cat,
primping it for the camera. Diamond shoots the
scene rapid fire like a wildlife photographer afraid of
missing his shot. He does not interfere with Abella.
The only instruction he gives is to tell her, “You’re
for sure the cover model.”
With these photos done, Diamond stages the
impending sex scene. The set does not need to tell
a story. It just needs to look natural. He angles a
black leather love seat in a corner that harnesses the
natural light through the sliding glass door. Then
he removes a picture frame in the background that
displays the promo photo the frame came with.
Abella’s scene partner, Chad Alva, walks in and
sits on the love seat. All he does to prepare for the
scene is to untie his shoes so they slip off effortlessly
when the action begins. While waiting for Diamond
Abella Danger on the set of “Pure Bush 3”
to ready his camera, Abella fills the time and space
with movement. She slides and spins across the hardwood floor, flexing her legs and
pointing her toes. As if all part of her impromptu ballet, Abella spins and straddles Alva.
Diamond grabs his camera and rushes to capture the ensuing action. ...
Near the end of the scene Abella says, “Cum all over my hairy bush,” sinking back
into the couch and spreading herself for Alva. Her bush serves as a net. She rubs Alva’s
emission into her hair like styling gel. The camera moves in closer like a microscope
searching for the mechanisms that drives the allure of her sopping bush.
My gaze also focuses on Abella’s bush in attempt to understand what it is fans of this
niche find so appealing about hair. Maybe they like how pubic hair helps trap a woman’s
natural scent. Maybe they are attracted to bush the way many men obsess over breasts,
as an indicator of sexual maturity. Or maybe they associate bushes with liberated women
who aren’t afraid to challenge current cultural trends of femininity and sexuality. Or,
perhaps bush fans just like to see a shadow of the wild, unruly animal within us all.
Airerose Entertainment will release Pure Bush 3 in July. To order this and other Airerose titles,
