Axel Braun’s moviemaking powers seem to be most
potent when he’s visiting the fairy tale realm—
whether it’s the true kid in his heart showing or just
an unparalleled flair for the material, with his output
for the Wicked Fairy Tales line he’s been able perhaps
more so than in any of his other work to consistently
bring to life a sense of genuine wonder and
enthrallment, and Peter Pan XXX is another dazzling
example of that type of movie magic.
It also serves as a resounding breakthrough for its
two leads, Scotsman Ryan Ryder in the role of Peter
Pan and the previously almost unknown Keira Nicole
as Pan’s childhood sweetheart Wendy. It’s nary too
often that one can legitimately call a part in a porn
movie “star-making,” but at least in Nicole’s case—
and maybe Ryder’s, too—that’s just what’s on display

Playing a grown-up, married Wendy (though Peter
curiously remains a boy, albeit a post-pubescent
one), Nicole lights up the screen from the very first
moment … and she affects such a stunningly
convincing British accent that when she speaks
with her native American one in the BTS, it’s a bit
disconcerting. For Ryder’s part, few moments in all
of adult cinema have been as memorable as when he
breaks into his own rendition of the beloved song
“You Can Fly” from Disney’s animated original—the
chorus of this version, but of course, going, “We can
fuck, we can fuck, we can fuck!” Which he and Wendy
proceed to do, thus rekindling the youthful vigor she
needs to fly away with Peter back to Neverland.
Steven St. Croix turns in one of his best
performances in years here, as well, in a double
role as Wendy’s demeaning husband and Peter’s
perennial nemesis Captain Hook. The story finds
Hook holding Tinker Bell hostage (the impish fairy
played by Braun exclusive Riley Steele) in order to
suss out Pan’s whereabouts. Leading up to their
climactic confrontation, Hook gets a taste of Tink’s
pink (after she shrinks him down to her size), Pan
gets a b.j. from two mermaids (Mia Malkova and
Steele’s contract sister Aiden Ashley), and Wendy
gets gangbanged by two Lost Boys and bumbling
pirate Smee (respectively, Dane Cross, Jake Jace and
Jay Crew).
Tink, too, has a second sexual liaison of her own—
this time in full-sized human form—with Tiger Lily
(Vicki Chase) and her tribe’s medicine man, Bigodick
(Tommy Gunn).
In short, Peter Pan XXX is a somewhat unexpected
lightning strike of pure porno gold; as Braun himself
has said of the production, every element sort of just
comes together sublimely, and the result is utterly
enchanting. This, like the tale that inspired it, is a
future classic in its own right—one whose universal
appeal will not fade as time marches on.
