Bella Rose: ‘I’m All In’

It’s a combination that is positioning the ambitious native of
Bella Rose aims to please just as much as she loves to entertain.
North Carolina for a breakout year in Porn Valley.
“Sometimes I get carried away, I’m too passionate,” Rose
admits with a laugh. “I’ve just always wanted to do this.”
Indeed, the petite performer is making the most of her opportunities
in the adult industry, which is embracing her go-for-it attitude and
sexy Southern charm. The just-turned-20 starlet moved to L.A. in July
to pursue porn full-time, going after a dream that she once considered
“far-fetched” due to her small-town roots.
“It’ll never happen,” she used to think.
Rose made her debut in November 2015 after signing with L.A.
Direct Models, doing her first round of scenes and then returning to
the East Coast to prepare for her permanent move. During those early
outings, she got enough of a taste of the business to reinforce what she
already suspected.
“I really loved it,” Rose recalls. “I eat, sleep and breathe the sex
industry. I strip, I do webcam, I do porn. It’s always on my mind, so I
knew I wanted to move here to do it full time. I had to strip and save
up money, so now I’m here.”
Rose eased into adult entertainment by camming, creating the
persona CupcakeBarbie with MyFreeCams on the day she turned 18.
Her first scene was a four-way with Seth Gamble, Johnny Castle and
Mara for NetVideoGirls; it was also the first time she’d ever had sex
with more than one person. “I was very nervous but thankfully the
scene had to do with me acting nervous so it fit.”
Rose says her next encounter was with Chad White in New
Sensations’ Cute Little Things 3 for director Paul Woodcrest.
“I’m really looking forward to Elegant Angel. I did It’s a Daddy Thing,
where I fuck my stepdad. I think that will be a very good one. ...
“And I did one with Mofos called
Stranded Teens and there’s a lot of stuff
that goes on in the car and it’s point-of-
view. We fucked in a tree, basically, so
that was fun. Lots of twigs up the butt.”
A student of the game who is always
learning, Rose says there are certain
performers whose scenes she’ll watch to
hone her skills. Performers such as Elsa
Jean and Megan Rain.
“A lot of people tell me to look at
Megan Rain, so I’ve looked a lot at
Megan Rain. She’s also good. I do a lot
of little girl roles right now because I’m
younger, so I like to watch a lot of that.
But no particular companies,” she says.
Now she says her goal is go as far as
she can in adult.
“Oh yeah. I definitely plan on
continuously doing this for a while
and also camming and stripping—
everything. I’m all in,” Rose says. “I’m
ready for any scene, for whatever. I am
excited and determined. Every time I do
a scene I ask the producer or director,
‘what do you think I can do better?’ And
I apply that to my next scene.”

Angel Smalls started performing in June of 2015 in a scene for
She doesn’t remember her scene partner: “It was a year ago and I
haven’t worked with him since.”
She started in the industry after a sexual awakening: “I didn’t notice
how sexual I was until I met the right person. I was always interested in
pursuing the adult industry so I just jumped in. Everybody before told
me I’d be perfect for it. Old boyfriends. I knew quite a few male and
female talent and they told me I should get in there. I tried it—and I
haven’t left.”
Smalls says her best scene so far is “the anal scene I did for Mike
Adriano for Anal Heartbreakers. It was two scenes, really good ones.” She
also likes a scene with Mark Wood in Ready for Anal 2. Although she
hasn’t watched any of her recent d.p. scenes, she is very enthusiastic
about them: “I love sex in general but I definitely get more d.p.s on set
than off. I really like them since I started doing them. I’m just, like, ‘Can
I get more?’ I want more of them. I did it once or twice in my private
life, but you never find the two right guys. It’s better with guys who are
professionals.”
She loves to read (“I don’t leave a bookstore without a book.”) and is
getting into the gonzo journalism of Hunter S. Thompson: “He’s great.
He was awesome. I have Fear & Loathing on the Campaign Trail ‘72 in my
car but I haven’t started reading it yet.
If only he were still around. I love his
wild imagination. Everything he says.
I love the quote about the ones who
go up to the edge and the ones who go
over. [It’s from Thompson’s 1966 book
Hell’s Angels: A Strange and Terrible Saga:
“The Edge ...There is no honest way to
explain it because the only people who
really know where it is are the ones
