It’s about as rare as a Republican
on an anti-Bush picket line to see
something in a porn movie that’s
truly both innovative and indelible.
But director/producer Rebecca Lord
delivers just that in Do Not Disturb,
her breathtaking reemergence as a
XXX auteur.
The AVN Hall of Famer, one
of the biggest international adult
stars to come out of the 1990s,
is no stranger to the director’s
chair—she’s sporadically helmed
projects for a number of top studios
throughout the past two decades.
With Do Not Disturb, however, she
stakes an unquestionable new claim
for herself as an erotic artist to be
MOVIES
reckoned with.
The five mostly dialogue-free
scenarios here have wildly different
settings, but each is visually
exhilarating in its own way.
Without a doubt the most awe-
inspiring of the five—and the one
for which this movie will be best
remembered—is the finale between
blonde sexpot Gina Gerson and
Euro-stud Rico Simmons partially
staged on an actual helicopter flight.
With a sprawling canvas of sea
and landscape rolling along far
below them, Gerson and Simmons
make some electrifying nookie
in the copter’s ultra-confined
passenger quarters without
removing their respective garb—his a business suit and hers a stewardess
uniform. Simply pulling his cock out through his fly, Gerson gives Simmons a
few moments of sky head before yanking her own panties aside to climb on and
commence bouncing. She also gives him a brief footjob and bounces on him
some more in reverse cowgirl, followed by longer stretches of dick-licking and
unspeakably hot cowgirl riding. This brings them to the ground, where they
continue their fuck first inside then spilling out of the copter, and finally move to
a dilapidated hangar nearby to finish getting their respective jollies. All in all, this
While not as creatively ambitious as the
rest, the remaining two scenes, featuring
perennially popular Czech starlet Carla Cox
and newcomer Kari, are both very gorgeous
and very hot by any estimation.
Do Not Disturb is certainly one of the most
impressive all-sex movies of the past year, if
not the past several years. If Rebecca Lord
continues to produce fare like this ... well,
all we can say is look out, world.

scene is one of those landmark pieces of pornmaking not soon to be forgotten by
anyone who encounters it.
Very nearly as noteworthy, though, is another scene in a moving transport—
this time a limo, with exotic beauty Tiffany Doll and veteran swordsman Neeo
indulging their carnal cravings during the ride. The opening scene is not to be
overlooked either; pairing reigning AVN Female Foreign Performer of the Year
Anissa Kate with young buck Lutro, it employs a really arresting technique of
projecting the action on a giant video screen behind the two as they’re
providing it.
