Coco, Bonnie, Kendra and Megan liven things up at ILS

T
he three-day spring International Lingerie Show
kicked off at the very end of March, with several
companies launching new products and lingerie
collections.
Among the biggest news at the show was the
debut of Cocolicious Lingerie from Rene Rofe. Designed by
Coco Austin—model, reality TV star and wife of rapper-
turned-actor Ice-T—the collection launched with 24 SKUs,
including thong panties, teddies, bodysuits and tube
dresses.
Coco and Ice-T were on hand the first day of the show to
debut the pieces, and Coco emceed a portion of the fashion
show where models strutted the runway in her fashions.
“We met Coco when she was here last year for the
launch of her toy line with CalExotics,” said Wilson Kello,
creative director for Rene Rofe. “We inked the deal within
a few months, and she came in to help with the design
and creation. Her fans have been clamoring for this, so she
made this collection for her fans.”
Coco told AVN that all of the pieces in the collection are
modeled after clothing items from her own closet.
“Sometimes I get an item and then ‘Coco-fy’ it,” she said.
“I like things that are versatile and sexy at the same time;
pieces that you can wear in the bedroom, or in the club, or
just out on the town with jeans and heels.”
She said in many cases, stretchy materials were
used for comfort and durability, and that the line is
designed for women with curvier figures. And
in some cases, she said, she was inspired to
create pieces from her days as a burlesque
performer—she starred as Bo Peep
in the Las Vegas production of
Peepshow, replacing Holly Madison
in the role.
“I would get women who
saw the outfits I wore in
the show asking me
where they can get
this, or where
they can find
that,” she
said.
