Xgen Debuts Kalan Novelties
At its spring Warehouse Trade Show,
representatives from Xgen Products hosted a
vendor seminar, met with clients and debuted
a new line: Kalan Novelties.
The Kalan Novelties line, which is
currently shipping and available to order,
made its Xgen Products debut at the event,
which is a two-day mini-trade show where
the distributor/manufacturer can meet with
clients and showcase inventory.
“Kalan Novelties’ brand of trendy gifts
and accessories fit in perfectly with Xgen’s
mission to be a one-stop shop for fresh
items and upsell opportunities,” said Xgen
Products President Andy Green. “Our second
annual warehouse show was a great place to
introduce Kalan as part of our roster, and we
look forward to a successful partnership.”
Another highlight of the exhibition was
keynote speaker Steven Barbery, whose address
was informed by 20 years of sales and marketing
experience with high-end brands like Tom
Ford Eyewear, Lord & Taylor, and Fossil in the
mainstream market.

have as a keynote speaker at our event,” Green

Shots America Hosts Grand Opening
Shots America LLC is opening a new distribution center and offices in Santa Clarita, and members of the
adult industry are invited to a grand opening celebration July 9.
An opening for the new center—located at 26420 Summit Circle, Santa Clarita, 91350—is slated for
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 9, and a grand opening dinner celebration is set for 7 p.m. July 10 at a location to
be announced later.
Shots America staff members are also taking appointments for tours of the new 30,000-square-foot
facility between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. July 10-17.
The new location will allow Shots America to take over distribution of its product lines— Shots Toys,
Ouch!, Bad Romance, Boom, RealRock, Loveline, etc.—to the United States, Canada, Mexico and South
America. Evolved Novelties in Chatsworth, California, previously handled those details for the company.
Shots America LLC will carry the entire Shots assortment of products, which consists of over 1,500
SKUs.
Shots Toys is based in The Netherlands and has been in the pleasure products business in Europe
for more than 20 years. Under the leadership of Oscar Heijnen and his team, the company has achieved
much success.
Ruben Deitz will serve as CEO and president of Shots America. He brings over 25 years of experience
to the position. Fluent in Spanish and English, he holds a master’s in business administration and
graduated summa cum laude from National University. He previously worked for Pipedream Products,
having joined the company in 2005.
