Asa Akira Turns Director
Performer of the Year makes her bow with ‘Gangbanged’ for Elegant Angel
Reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year and 2013 AVN Awards co-hostess Asa
Akira brings her pornographic acumen behind the camera for the first time as the
newest director for Elegant Angel Productions, kicking off her new vocational track by
taking the reigns of the studio’s Gangbanged series beginning with the sixth volume.
“I’ve been wanting to direct for quite a while now,” Akira said. “After performing for
five years and frequently being on sets and around creative people, I have lots of great
ideas for movies. Consequently, I want my upcoming Gangbanged show to be my vision
