Brooklyn Lee Moves On Celebrated adult star leaves the biz at height of her career
Multiple AVN Award winner Brooklyn Lee has
confirmed her retirement from shooting adult
movies to AVN. Lee announced her retirement
May 1, on AdultDVDTalk.com.
In her post, Lee said, “Also, yes, I have retired.
Off to other things and greener pastures. It’s time
for me to focus on the bigger picture; my
education. Just going to school & being me. All is
well ... the adult industry is simply no longer a
place I belong or wish to be.”
“I take with me many fond memories and unique experiences; I wish the very best to
my friends that remain in adult. I came, I saw, I conquered...and now I’m done.”
Lee told AVN that she’s returning to school to pursue a professional degree, but is not
on a pre-med track as had previously been mentioned in other reports.
Perhaps Lee’s biggest on-screen accomplishment to date is her stirring performance
last year in John Stagliano’s return to feature filmmaking, Voracious, a movie she also co-
wrote. Spiegler reports that Stagliano expects Lee to reprise her role in Voracious 2, which
would mark the final performance of her career.
Since beginning her performing career in 2010,
Lee has gone on to be one of the most in-demand
Lee currently stars as the Black Widow in Vivid Entertainment’s Iron Man XXX: An

and decorated female performers in the industry,
excelling in all-sex movies as well as scoring lead
roles in major feature productions.
There’s no doubt Lee leaves at the height of her career. In 2013 she won five AVN Awards
for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene, Best Anal Sex Scene, Best Three-Way Sex Scene (G/G/B)
and Most Outrageous Sex Scene. She also was nominated for Female Performer of the Year
and Best Actress. In April Lee garnered XRCO Awards for Orgasmic Oralist and Superslut.
“There has been some speculation that I quit because of my longtime boyfriend, who
is a figure behind the scenes in the industry,” Lee wrote. “I would love to tell you that I
am a fully liberated woman who does what she pleases and can easily separate work life
from home. I won’t lie to you. While the man that I love never once asked me to quit
performing, I did do so in part because of him. When you reach a point where you
“Green Door is hopefully going to be great,” Lee told AVN. “I haven’t seen any of it,
so I can’t really say. I do know that while we were shooting it, we were fully engaged and
cared deeply about the project. Let’s hope that energy transfers to the film.”
The 23-year-old Ohio native also is featured in the mainstream documentary Aroused,
directed by celebrity photographer Deborah Anderson, for which she appeared at the
movie’s premiere in Los Angeles on May 1. The movie is playing in select cities and is
available for pre-order on Amazon.com and iTunes.
While many industry observers would expect Lee to garner several AVN Awards
nominations for 2014, she says she would not be attending the show.
“I have no intention of attending the awards shows next year, although I wish
everyone the best and will be there in spirit,” she said. “I’m pulling for Chanel Preston
for Female Performer of the Year.”
